Dear Mr. Runkle:

Thank you for your recent correspondence dated October 26, 2001. I did receive your video and materials depicting the conditions at Daylay Egg Farm. I concur with the Wyandot Prosecuting Attorney, Michael Pfeifer that these may be misdemeanor charges. Union County is similar to Wyandot County in that misdemeanor charges are handled by the City Law Director of Marysville, Time Aslaner. I forwarded the package to the Union Country Sheriff's Department for further investigation to determine if the charges are misdemeanor or if there may be felony charges.

By copy of this letter to Mr. Aslaner, I will put him on notice that this material has been forwarded to the Union County Sheriff's Department so that he may be prepared for potential misdemeanor prosecution.
